Call for Trainers
MASRO is currently accepting training proposals for its 2024 MASRO Conference to be held July 7 - July 12, 2024 at the IP Casino & Resort Biloxi. MASRO is seeking trainers that will provide quality training to school resource officers, school safety officers, and school administrators. Training sessions must offer information on current trends, present new skills, and engage attendees in an information-packed learning experience. MASRO training sessions provide learning opportunities for SROs, SSOs, educators, and administrators at all levels of experience.
Submissions
Complete all areas of the form, including the trainer agreement. Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
Separate forms are required for each session proposed. Multiple submissions are allowed.
Training sessions are either 2 Hours or 4 hours or 8 hours in length (not including breaks). Breakout training sessions are tentatively scheduled to be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, Wednesday, July 10, 2024, or Thursday, July 11, 2024.
Trainers will not receive a stipend and must pay all travel expenses
When reviewing proposals, preference will be given to trainers who have not trained at a MASRO conference the past two years.

Timeline
Call for Trainer submissions will be accepted through 5:00 pm CST February 1, 2024.
Invitations will be extended to trainers by March 1, 2024.
