Chief Weekley has been at Biloxi Public Schools for 6 years and prior to that he was an SRO at Oxford Police Department for 7 years. He has been married for 15 years and has 4 kids. Chief is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and in his free time, he likes to grill and watch movies.

Antonio Naylor is a young, caring, devoted father and husband. He loves law enforcement. Antonio is all about his kids and catering to people. He left patrol and came to the school system to help as many kids and impact as many lives as he possibly can. In his spare time, he cooks. He calls his cooking time his “peaceful serenity.”

Chief LaTosha Myers is currently the Chief of the Hattiesburg Public School District, Myers was formerly a Lieutenant at the Hattiesburg Police Department, where she served as the commander over the Domestic Violence and Sex Crime Unit for 14 years.

Chief Myers received a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Juvenile Justice and a Master’s of Arts in Administration of Justice from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master’s of Art in Counseling Psychology at the University of West Alabama.

Chief Myers is a Certified Instructor for the State of MS in Domestic Violence, Women’s Awareness and Response, Crisis Intervention, and Officer Survival. She is an instructor at the Hattiesburg Police Academy, Southern Regional Public Safety Institute Academy, and Pine Belt Mental Health Services.

Investigator Marissa Combs

Marissa graduated from Purdue University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/English. She’s been living in Mississippi since 2008, and joined the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department. She’s been a patrol deputy, a SRO, a DARE Officer, and was the SRO Supervisor from 2015-2022. She was also over Training & Accreditation for her department. In 2022, Marissa was hired by the MS Office of Homeland Security for the position of School Resource Analyst. She travels the east side of the state assisting school districts with their school safety. In 2024, she returned to Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department as the SRO Sergeant. In 2025, Marissa went to Meridian Community College as their first titled investigator.

Chief Meesha Lessie

Chief Lessie got started in Law Enforcement at the age of 21 for Pace Police Department where she was the first female officer. She later joined the Ruleville Police Department where she was also the first female. Meesha worked for the North Central Narcotics Tasks Force as an undercover agent for 8 years. She started with Greenville Public School District in September 2012, where she became a Certified School Resource Officer. Meesha is also an G.R.E.A.T. Instructor. She enjoys spending time with her grand children but most of all she loves shopping for them. Most of all, what many might be scared to say but, she is a survival of sexual abuse. Meesha says, “I have learned to be a voice for victims that are scared to speak out!!”

Chief Anthony Sims serves as the Chief of Police at Jefferson Davis County School District. He's certified as a firearm's instructor, CIT instructor, D.A.R.E officer and oversees school safety. Chief Sims has been in law enforcement 20 year, starting his career with Jackson Police Department.

He a veteran of the United States Navy. Chief Sims is married and has two daughters and two grandson's. He enjoys weekend get aways and family vacations. He's apart of an organization called the "Disciple's Brotherhood" who mentors at risk males through work programs and sharing the Gospel.

Deputy Williams is currently assigned to an elementary school, is also CIT certified and is on the Hostage Negotiation team. She has 5 beautiful daughters and a small cleaning business in which her daughters assist. Deputy Williams loves the outdoors, but finds that staying home with a good movie is also relaxing. Outside of working and gaining knowledge on how to improve police/community relations, she enjoys making people smile. She believes that laughter is good for the soul.

Chief Gerald Wesley, Jr.

Gerald M. Wesley Jr. brings 25 years of law enforcement experience to his role, supported by a strong academic background that includes a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Delta State University. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership positions and currently serves as the School Safety and Security Coordinator and Chief of Campus Police for the Cleveland School District. He has further enhanced his expertise by completing the basic and advanced courses offered by the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO).

 His philosophy is to “stand firm but be fair.” Gerald believes that a team can accomplish more than an individual and that a team is only as effective as its leader. His personal motto, “Be of good courage,” reflects his commitment to resilience and integrity in leadership. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Gerald enjoys exercising, listening to music, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Chief Natashea Coleman-Brown

Natashea Brown is a native of Columbus, MS. She started her law enforcement career with the Columbus Police Department in 2002. While there, she served as a patrol officer and spent seven years as a criminal investigator. In 2013, she joined the Columbus Municipal School District and became a state certified School Resource Officer. She currently serves as the Chief for Columbus Municipal School District Police Department. Chief Brown is also a certified Field Training Officer, certified L.E.A.D. Instructor, certified Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor and is a proud United States Army veteran.

Sergeant Robert Smith

Robert “O’Neal” Smith has dedicated over 27 years of service to law enforcement, bringing experience, consistency, and integrity to every role he has held. He currently serves with the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department as a Sergeant, Deputy, and School Resource Officer (SRO), where he focuses on safety, mentorship, and building meaningful relationships within the school environment.

 Robert began his law enforcement career in Philadelphia, Mississippi, spending approximately 16 years gaining experience between the Police Department and the Sheriff’s Office. After marrying his wife of 15 years, he relocated to Meridian and briefly stepped away from law enforcement before returning to the profession he is deeply committed to. He has served with the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office for the past six years, where he continues to make a positive impact as an SRO.

 Outside of work, Robert values time spent outdoors. He enjoys yard work, fishing, and relaxing on his deck with a good cigar. He is a proud family man, blessed with four children and four grandchildren, who remain a central part of his life and motivation.

 Known for his straightforward approach and seasoned perspective, Robert lives by the quote, “A closed mouth don’t get fed,” a reflection of his belief in communication, initiative, and accountability. His favorite color is blue, his go-to meal is a good steak, and his favorite movie is Bad Boys I. With decades of experience and a steady presence, Robert Smith continues to serve his community with professionalism, dedication, and heart.

Deputy Harrell is a Deputy Sheriff for Walthall County and an SRO for the Walthall County School District. He also served 5 years with the Tylertown Police Department. Deputy Harrell has been married for 16 years and has five children and six grandchildren. He is an active member of his church as an usher, and serves his community by volunteering to assist the elderly and families in need. Deputy Harrell enjoys fishing and travelling.

Captain Sanford is the Support Services Captain for the Tupelo Police Department. He oversees the SRO Division, along with 9 other units. He has held several positions with MASRO including, President, Vice President, and Treasurer. His son is also an officer with TPD. Captain Sanford enjoys hunting and spending time with family. Captain Sanford retired in 2022 and was named MASRO’s very first Lifetime Member.

Officer Robert Smith

Robert has been a School Resource Officer at the Franklin County School District for 15 years. Prior to becoming a SRO, he was a Conservation Officer with the MS Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks. He’s been married for 28 years and has a son who is also in law enforcement. Robert spends his off time travelling, working outside on his property, weightlifting, doing yoga, and target shooting.

Lt. Sloan was our MASRO President from 2020-2023 AND is currently the Supervisor for 4 SROs, 15 crossing guards, and the reserve officers. She is also a D.A.R.E Instructor for approximately 400 kids, and is a L.E.A.P.S member.
