Robert has been a School Resource Officer at the Franklin County School District for 15 years. Prior to becoming a SRO, he was a Conservation Officer with the MS Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks. He’s been married for 28 years and has a son who is also in law enforcement. Robert spends his off time travelling, working outside on his property, weightlifting, doing yoga, and target shooting.

Chief Weekley has been at Biloxi Public Schools for 6 years and prior to that he was an SRO at Oxford Police Department for 7 years. He has been married for 15 years and has 4 kids. Chief is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and in his free time, he likes to grill and watch movies.

Chief LaTosha Myers is currently the Chief of the Hattiesburg Public School District, Myers was formerly a Lieutenant at the Hattiesburg Police Department, where she served as the commander over the Domestic Violence and Sex Crime Unit for 14 years.

Chief Myers received a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Juvenile Justice and a Master’s of Arts in Administration of Justice from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master’s of Art in Counseling Psychology at the University of West Alabama.

Chief Myers is a Certified Instructor for the State of MS in Domestic Violence, Women’s Awareness and Response, Crisis Intervention, and Officer Survival. She is an instructor at the Hattiesburg Police Academy, Southern Regional Public Safety Institute Academy, and Pine Belt Mental Health Services.

Marissa graduated from Purdue University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/English. She’s been living in Mississippi since 2008, and joined the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department. She’s been a patrol deputy, a SRO, a DARE Officer, and was the SRO Supervisor from 2015-2022. She was also over Training & Accreditation for her department. In 2022, Marissa was hired by the MS Office of Homeland Security for the position of School Resource Analyst. She travels the east side of the state assisting school districts with their school safety.

Sergeant James Gonzales

Sergeant Gonzales is assigned to the South District which includes Baxterville, Purvis, and Lumberton schools. He has three other officers in that district. Sgt. Gonzales is also the District Firearms Instructor and Training Officer. His other activities include lifting weights and camping in his fifth wheel. He has seven children and five grandchildren. Sgt. Gonzales and his family attend the Venture Church in Hattiesburg where he is a part of the security team. He is also a reserve deputy for the Lamar County Sheriff’s Department. Before moving to Mississippi, Sgt. Gonzales was in the Marine Corp for six years and spent time travelling the world. He also retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety where he had spent the latter part of his career on the SRT Team.

Deputy Tearra Williams

Deputy Williams is currently assigned to an elementary school, is also CIT certified and is on the Hostage Negotiation team. She has 5 beautiful daughters and a small cleaning business in which her daughters assist. Deputy Williams loves the outdoors, but finds that staying home with a good movie is also relaxing. Outside of working and gaining knowledge on how to improve police/community relations, she enjoys making people smile. She believes that laughter is good for the soul.

Sgt. Alan Chavers

Sergeant Chavers is the Sergeant of Tupelo Police Department’s SRO Unit and handles the day to day operations. He was previously on the motor unit for 13 yrs. and is a Police Motor Instructor. He is also a Crisis Intervention Team Instructor. Sgt. Chavers is the Lead Negotiations officer and co-ordinates trainings for that unit. He is a PEER Support Group Member and he works with the Mental Health Group for L.E.O. and have been on several debriefings through the years. Off duty he has a piano business and travels with his wife and hikes/bikes.

Chief Lessie got started in Law Enforcement at the age of 21 for Pace Police Department where she was the first female officer. She later joined the Ruleville Police Department where she was also the first female. Meesha worked for the North Central Narcotics Tasks Force as an undercover agent for 8 years. She started with Greenville Public School District in September 2012, where she became a Certified School Resource Officer. Meesha is also an G.R.E.A.T. Instructor. She enjoys spending time with her grand children but most of all she loves shopping for them. Most of all, what many might be scared to say but, she is a survival of sexual abuse. Meesha says, “I have learned to be a voice for victims that are scared to speak out!!”

Natashea Brown is a native of Columbus, MS. She started her law enforcement career with the Columbus Police Department in 2002. While there, she served as a patrol officer and spent seven years as a criminal investigator. In 2013, she joined the Columbus Municipal School District and became a state certified School Resource Officer. She currently serves as the Chief for Columbus Municipal School District Police Department. Chief Brown is also a certified Field Training Officer, certified L.E.A.D. Instructor, certified Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor and is a proud United States Army veteran.

Jesse is the Administrator of school security for the Rankin County School District, he also serves as a Deputy Sheriff. Jesse began his law enforcement career as a Detention Officer in Rankin County. He  worked his way up to a patrol deputy, corporal, and sergeant before going to work for the School District. He is also an instructor for Mississippi State University in the Mississippi Alcohol Safety Education Program. Jesse is married to Hailey, and they have two boys, Jayden and Landen.

Antonio Naylor is a young, caring, devoted father and husband. He loves law enforcement. Antonio is all about his kids and catering to people. He left patrol and came to the school system to help as many kids and impact as many lives as he possibly can. In his spare time, he cooks. He calls his cooking time his “peaceful serenity.”

Deputy Harrell is a Deputy Sheriff for Walthall County and an SRO for the Walthall County School District. He also served 5 years with the Tylertown Police Department. Deputy Harrell has been married for 16 years and has five children and six grandchildren. He is an active member of his church as an usher, and serves his community by volunteering to assist the elderly and families in need. Deputy Harrell enjoys fishing and travelling.

Chief Anthony Sims serves as the Chief of Police at Jefferson Davis County School District. He's certified as a firearm's instructor, CIT instructor, D.A.R.E officer and oversees school safety. Chief Sims has been in law enforcement 20 year, starting his career with Jackson Police Department.

He a veteran of the United States Navy. Chief Sims is married and has two daughters and two grandson's. He enjoys weekend get aways and family vacations. He's apart of an organization called the "Disciple's Brotherhood" who mentors at risk males through work programs and sharing the Gospel.

Officer Darius Wilson is the SRO at Pascagoula High School and Eastlawn Elementary. He has been a DARE Instructor for the past eight years. Officer Wilson started his law enforcement career as a patrolman with the city of Moss Point (four years); Jackson County Sheriff’s Department (three years); and the PGSD for the last five years. He has a bachelor of science degree in Management from the University of Phoenix and is currently in the Master’s Program for Public Administration. His program will be completed in April 2024. Officer Wilson also an Alderman for the City of Moss Point currently serving in his first term. He is married (14 years) with two daughters. One is in the Navy, stationed in Japan; the other is a student at Hind’s Junior College.

Greg has worked at The University of Alabama Police Department, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Police Department, and the City of Poplarville Police Department. Greg currently works with the Mississippi Department of Education as the School Safety Administrator with the Division of School Safety under the Office of Safe and Orderly Schools.

Captain Sanford is the Support Services Captain for the Tupelo Police Department. He oversees the SRO Division, along with 9 other units. He has held several positions with MASRO including, President, Vice President, and Treasurer. His son is also an officer with TPD. Captain Sanford enjoys hunting and spending time with family. Captain Sanford retired in 2022 and was named MASRO’s very first Lifetime Member.
